WHO WE ARE

The National Writing Project created an Urban Sites Network to provide teachers support in urban districts across the country, addressing the ways "that teaching and learning are inseparably linked to race, class, gender, language, culture, and social justice" (National Writing Project, 2015). Within our Minnesota Writing Project, we are creating a network of teachers to support each other in learning around issues of social justice. This is a place to stay connected, share ideas, and expand our understanding of social justice issues in our Minnesota context.
