Something funny happened at the National Council of Teachers of English national convention in Minneapolis the other day -- NCTE's Commission on Social Justice in Teacher Education Programs staged a protest of Pearson (you're familiar with their work?) in the exhibit hall, a protest that gathered steam and was eventually comprised of dozens of educators.
